Description:  The railroad ties are being sold in lots of 50 ties per lot.  There are 4 lots being offered.  The ties were recently removed as part of the site track removal project.  Ties  range from good to usuable condition.  The buyer will not be expected to take (Excluded Ties) broken, partical length ties, or ties with more than 10 percent gross section section loss.  Buyers will be expected to take ties in good to fair condition, ties with some splitting, ties with less than 6 inches of end damage and ties with 90 percent gross section area in tack. The Buyer will not be permitted to sort through the pile to select only the best ties.  The ties will be loaded as they come from the pile except for the Excluded Ties can be set aside.  Buyers who complete the payment process  and schedule their pickup first will be given first choice in loading.  The Seller will assit in loading ties with a fork lift.  Buyer is responsible for bring the appropriate hauling vehicle and for securing the load.  Sorting through the stock pile will not be permitted.

Conditions for sale of AEP Surplus Equipment / Material:

~ All Items are sold AS IS WHERE IS.  No warranty given or implied.
~ Inspections are on the potential Buyers time and expense and must be scheduled in advance.
~ Test operation of the item will not be permitted.
~ Buyer will be required to sign a Bill of Sale and pay any applicable taxes.
~ After payment clears, the Buyer can arrange for pick up.
~ Seller will assist with loading with a fork truck. 
~ Buyer must present a copy of the pickup release at the time of pickup.
~ Buyer shall have appropriate hauling equipment for the item(s) being picked up.
~ Buyer is responsible for positioning and securing the item(s) on the transport vehicle.
~ If applicable AEP branding decals will be removed prior to the sale.
