Location:  This item is located near Cleveland, VA

Condition: Unused

Description:  The lot includes miscellaneous valves, fittings, couplings, fasteners, gaskets, unions, pipe sections, elbows, hangers, flanges, flex pipe, hoses, tubing, pvc fittings, and pvc valves.  Most items are new and were left over from installation projects. Some used items included. Items not included are shelving units, storage cabinets, installed fixtures, certificate documentation for pressure items, and conex shipping containers.  Buyer must take all items in the conex shipping container including any packaging except for excluded items.   Photos are attached to represent the materials and condition of the items included in the Lot.  Please note the photos are meant for representation and the items actually present at the close of the auction may change some as the Seller continues to consolidate surplus materials.

The miscellaneous mechanical items are being offered on a price per pound for all the materials in the Lot. The actual weight of the Lot will be determined when loaded for removal from the site and weighed as a Lot including any packaging.  The plants scales will be used to determine weight.  Payment prior to determining actual weight will be determined by high bid price per pound times the Weight for Prepayment (20,000 lbs).  The Buyer will be required to make payment before actual weight is known using the Weight for Prepayment (20,000 lbs).  After the actual weight is determined an adjustment will be made either a refund to the Buyer or an Invoice for additional payment to the Seller.

Example:  High bid was $0.15 for one pound.  The actual weight was determined to be 15,000 lbs.
 Up Front Payment would be  $.15 X 20,000 lbs = $3,000 plus any applicable sales tax
 Refund to Buyer after items are picked up  Weight for Prepayment 20,000 lbs - Actual Weight 15,000 lbs = 5000 lbs under;  5000 lbs X $0.15 =$750.00 plus sales tax paid REFUNDED to Buyer.

The Buyer will be responsible for removing the items from the conex shipping containers.  The Seller will operate and provide a fork truck to assist with loading if needed.  The Buyer is responsible for providing the appropriate hauling equipment and for securing the materials.  The Buyer will be required to provide and wear hardhats, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, and gloves while at the Sellers facility and follow the sites safety rules.  The loaded materials will include any packaging, wraps, containers, and pallets (if used) and their weight will be included in the weight of the lot for payment.  

The material types and quantities are unknown.  It is the responsibility of the Buyer to satisfy itself with the material break down prior to submitting a bid.   In the event that the actual quantity or quantity breakdown is different than the Buyer was expecting there will be no adjustment to the unit price.

Conditions for sale of AEP Surplus Equipment / Material:

~ All Items are sold AS IS WHERE IS.  No warranty given or implied.
~ Inspections are on the potential Buyers time and expense and must be scheduled in advance.
~ Test operation of the item will not be permitted.
~ Buyer will be required to sign a Bill of Sale and pay any applicable taxes.
~ After payment clears, the Buyer can arrange for pick up.
~ Seller will assist with loading with a fork truck. 
~ Buyer must present a copy of the pickup release at the time of pickup.
~ Buyer shall have appropriate hauling equipment for the item(s) being picked up.
~ Buyer is responsible for positioning and securing the item(s) on the transport vehicle.
~ If applicable AEP branding decals will be removed prior to the sale.
