HP Turbine Rotors ( Qty 2) and Inner Shell (Qty 1)

Manufacturer: Westinghouse
Model: Building Block 22 (BB22)

Quantity:  1 lot (Includes 2 rotors and 1 inner shell)

Location:  This item is located in Charleston, WV and Conesville, OH

Condition: Used

Description:

There are two rotors included:
~ 1st is in a wrecked condition at the Central Machine Shop in Charleston, WV and is available immediately.  The first row of blades has been removed and scrapped.  There is damage to several other rows.  This rotor is not in a usable condition. Rotor weight is estimated at 33200 lbs.
~ 2nd  is currently being removed from service and is in Conesville, OH.  This rotor is in usable condition and went into its current service run in 2004.  It is expected to be in good condition, but will require inspection/overhaul for possible continued use.  Rotor weight is estimated at 33200 lbs.

The material compositions are below and were obtained using a material analyzer.  They may not completely reflect the type of material expected.

  Fe Mn Cr Mo Cu
Rotor Body       2.25 Cr material?   P-22 material? 95.12 0.727 1.33 1.14
Rotor Blades   430/440? 410/416? 82.95   10.95 0.523 1.72

Stationary Components:  (Located in Conesville, OH)

Inner Cylinder Base 30,000 lbs
Inner Cylinder Cover 29,000 lbs
Inner Cylinder Bolting 6,100 lbs
Nozzle Chambers 8,700 lbs (2 @ 4350 ea.)
Flow Guide 2,190 lbs
Blade Ring #1 15,700 lbs (2 @ 7,850 ea.)
Blade Ring #2 37,400 lbs (2 @ 18,700 ea)

The material of the stationary components listed above is mostly 2.25 Chrome material.  The Blade Ring #2 may be 1.25 Chrome; this would not be known without using a material analyzer.  The stationary components are all expected to be in a worn, but good condition following the 8 year run, 2004 to 2012.  These components have also had an extensive history of weld repairs.  We will not be removing any blades to sell separately.  All the blades will remain intact to the 2 rotors and the blade carriers.  The stationary blades have high content chrome similar to the rotating blades.  The amount cannot be specifically identified without using a material analyzer.  The components are really only usable “as is”.  It is not feasible to remove blades and reuse them elsewhere.
